Go Extreme
Hen parties need not require excessive alcohol consumption and heavy partying, more and more women are choosing to do something different in the run up to their big day, such as extreme sporting events, as well as quad biking, rock climbing and paddling. Many outdoor sports centres offer special rates for groups, then take a look around, see what's near you or farther away if you want to travel.
Go mainstream
As mentioned earlier, Hen Parties have long been associated with night drinking, dancing and debauchery, and if this fits you and your friends, then there is no reason why you can't do this. But think will see a gig, a movie or even a play before hand, to break up the night and make it seem a little different.
Go Deluxe
If you do not want to go somewhere and not really fancy do nothing stressful or extreme and then perhaps spa days would be the best option for you. You can choose to have spoiled, massaged, waxed and fully looked at a top spa of the country, surrounded by all your friends. And when you've had a day or even a weekend at spa, what you are getting into is entirely up to you.
